Business Description
Southwest Software (SWS) is an industry innovator in calibration and color control software for color devices. SWS was founded in 1989 by brothers Tom, Jim, and Robert Burns, all of whom have deep roots in the personal computer industry. For the past 12 years, SWS has focused on color control software for color devices in the printing industry.
Product Description
SWS has private-labeled six of its calibration products to Kodak KPG under the Kodak brand "Kodak Precision" and "Kodak ColorFlow." Other private-label OEM customers include Canon, 3M, QMS, and AGFA. SWS holds five patents on its calibration processes and has licensed its technology to Kodak and Heidelberg. ProofCheck is a registered trademark.
