Business Description
Hostmann-Steinberg's roots date all the way back to 1765 when the Michael Huber Munchen company was formed in Germany. Hostmann-Steinberg was formedin 1817, and it began manufacturing colored inks in 1888. Fast forwarding to 1962, the company formed Hostmann-Steinberg Canada. And in 1977, Hostmann-Steinberg .and its subsidiaries were taken over by Huber Success has many roots. That explains why Hostmann-Steinberg Canada feels that team spirit is so important. But when you have grown in only twenty years, from one of the smallest to one of the largest printing ink manufacturer in the country, other factors certainly have been involved: for example, an unwavering dedication to quality, an environmentally responsible corporate philosophy, perfectly organized logistics, and highly proffessional technical support. Given the shear size of the country, this is an achievement in itself. Perseverance and toughness were also neccessary - altough we're always niceto our customers.
Product Description
This new generation of HiT process inks is manufactured in optimised, state-of-the-art production processes. The quality improvements are most noticeable in colour intensity, gloss, rub resistance, flow characteristics, dampening solution tolerance and stability at high printing speeds. The HiT technology guarantees a high level of production reliability and optimal results. The REFLECTA Q 2100 series is highly suitable for commercial jobs that require exceptionally high gloss on coated substrates, as well as on highly absorbent and less glossy stocks. With excellent print contrast and low dot gain, this ink series is ideally suited for use on 8 and 10 colour perfecting presses and any other multicolor press configuration. ALPHA HEATSET SERIES H 1293 process inks are a range of inks that have been designed to give exceptional sharpness and high print quality. They have very good press stability and water balance and are ideal for high speed presses and a wide variety of stocks.
